Lord, where we are wrong, make us willing to change; where we are right, make us easy to live with. - The Rev. Peter Marshall

(Reader's Digest, November 1993)

Many years ago, a large American shoe company sent two sales reps out to different parts of the Australian outback to see if they could drum up some business among the Aborigines.

Some time later, the company received telegrams from both agents.

The first said, "No business here . . . natives don't wear shoes."

The second one said, "Great opportunity here . . . natives don't wear shoes!"

Our pastor Keith and his wife Beth have a little girl named Rachel. One day Rachel and her mom were in the bathroom. Rachel was playing around the toilet while her mom was brushing her teeth. Beth looked down and saw Rachel taking her toothbrush and putting it in the toilet bowl and scrubbing the sides with it. Beth jumped and said "Rachel you don't ever take your toothbrush and scrub the toilet with it, it's got a lot of germs and is very nasty" Rachel was a little stunned and said "But mom, you didn't say anything yesterday when I did it with your toothbrush" (Beth got sick quickly) - Denise
