~~~~~~~ THOUGHTS:
"Happiness is finding love through giving love rather than through receiving it." - Author Unknown
~~~~~~~ SPECIAL THOUGHTS:

Moses and the people were in the desert, but what was he going to do with them? They had to be fed, and feeding 3 or 3 ½ million people requires a lot of food. According to the Quartermaster General in the Army, it is reported that Moses would have to have 1,500 tons of food each day. Do you know that to bring that much food each day, two freight trains each a mile long would be required! Besides you must remember, they were out in the desert, and they would have to have firewood to use in cooking the food. This would take 4,000 tons of wood and a few more freight trains each a mile long, just for one day.

And just think, they were forty years in transit. Oh, yes, they would have to have water. If they only had enough to drink and wash a few dishes, it would take 11,000,000 gallons each day, and a freight train with tank cars 1,800 miles long, just to bring water! And then another thing. They had to get across the Red Sea at night. Now, if they went on a narrow path, double file, the line would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So, there had to be a space in the Red Sea, 3 miles wide so that they could walk 5,000 abreast to get over in one night.

But then another problem. Each time they camped at the end of the day, a campground two-thirds the size of the state of Rhode Island was required, or a total of 750 square miles long, think of it! This space just for nightly camping.

Do you think Moses figured all this out before he left Egypt? I think not! You see, Moses believed in God. God took care of these things for him. Let us take courage, we have the same God. We think our problems are so big. Remember what God can do!

What He has done! Team up with God and your problems will be His. Let Him run your life. All the way the Savior leads us HOME. - Dr. Danny Kellum

~~~~~~~ KEEP SMILING:
The minister was preoccupied with thoughts of how he was going to, after the worship service, ask the congregation to come up with more money than they were expecting for repairs to the church building. Therefore, he was annoyed to find that the regular organist was sick and a substitute had been brought in at the last minute. The substitute wanted to know what to play.
"Here's a copy of the service," he said impatiently. "But you'll have to think of something to play after I make the announcement about the finances."
During the service, the minister paused and said, "Brothers and Sisters, we are in great difficulty; the roof repairs cost twice as much as we expected, and we need $4,000 more. Any of you who can pledge $100 or more, please stand up."
At that moment, the substitute organist played "The Star-Spangled Banner."
And that is how the substitute became the regular organist!
~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:

HOUSEHOLD TIPS . . . from Roy

Vinegar is a Natural Odor Absorber. An open bowl in your kitchen while cooking will soak your smells and smoke.

Use cold water when making gravy. Hot water may make lumps. Cold water will save you time and the frustration of trying to beat-out those bother some lumps.

Refrigerated candles won't drip and cause clean up headaches after your next big dinner.

Wash your Washer. Run the washing machine on hot water, normal cycle, and add a bottle of vinegar to clean the soap film and scum that's built up inside.

Never hang a Sweater to Dry. Block it on a flat surface to maintain its shape and fit.
