~~~~~~~ THOUGHTS:
"Do not accustom yourself to consider debt only as an inconvenience; you will find it a calamity." - Samuel Johnson
~~~~~~~ SPECIAL THOUGHTS:

Have you ever watched kids on a Merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain as it patters on the ground?
Ever watched a butterfly's soft erratic flight?
Or watched as the setting sun fades into the night?

You'd better slow down and don't dance so fast.
You'll find time too short and the music wont last.

Do you rush through each day on the run, on the fly?
When you ask 'How are you?", do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lay upon your bed,
With the next hundred chores running through your head?

You'd better slow down and don't dance so fast.
You'll find time too short and the music wont last.

Ever told your child,"We'll do that tomorrow"
And in your hurried state, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch and let old friendships die
Because you never had time to call and say "Hi!"

When you run so fast to get somewhere,
You miss half the fun of just getting there.
When you worry and hurry, all through your day,
It's like and unopened gift--Just thrown away...

Life's not a race
DO take it slower.
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

~~~~~~~ KEEP SMILING:
After two weeks of candlelit barbecued meals as a result of the ice storm in Eastern Canada last winter, my husband and I went out for dinner to celebrate the fact that our power was finally restored.
As we were enjoying our appetizer, a family was shown to a nearby table. After they were seated, the gentleman, pointing to the centerpiece on the table, said to the waitress, "If you light that candle, we're leaving!"
~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:

LARGER, GOLDEN-COLORED MARS

If you look up at the sky tonight, the first night of summer, you will see a golden-colored Mars looming larger and brighter than it has in more than a decade.

The Red Planet is at its closest point to Earth since l988 and will be visible to the naked eye anywhere in the world for the next two weeks, with tonight being its brightest night.

In the northern hemisphere, go outside after it gets dark, between 10 pm and midnight, and look southeast. It will be very bright and spectacular.

The planet, which is 42 million miles away, will appear 80 times brighter and six times bigger than last July, when it was 244 million miles from Earth on the other side of the sun.
