"Bad" Analogies . . .

It came down the stairs looking very much like something no one had ever seen before. - Marian Carlsson, Lexington

The knife was as sharp as the tone used by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tex.) in her first several points of parliamentary procedure made to Rep. Henry Hyde (R-Ill.) in the House Judiciary Committee hearings on the impeachment of President William Jefferson Clinton. - J. F. Knowles, Springfield

Her eyes were like limpid pools, only they had forgotten to put in any pH cleanser. - Chuck Smith, Woodbridge

~~~~~~~ KEEP SMILING:
A new business was opening and one of the owner's friends wanted to send him flowers for the occasion. He arrived at the new business site and read the card, "Rest in Peace". Angry, he called the florist to complain. After he had told the florist of the obvious mistake and how angry he was, the florist said, "Sir, I'm really sorry for the mistake, but rather than getting angry you should imagine this. Somewhere there is a funeral taking place today, and they have flowers with a note saying, 'Congratulations on your new location.'"
~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:

Climmback, Germany (Ananova):

Walter Henning, 83, from Climmbach in Hessen was visiting his German dentist for a routine check-up. His dentist told him he needed an x-ray. The x-ray revealed that he had a bullet in his neck.

Henning said: "It must have happened in the Second World War in 1944 in East Prussia. Our tank was under heavy fire from the Russians and I remember feeling a little scratch.

"The doctor says I shouldn't take it out now. It's been there the whole time and didn't hurt me," he added.
