~~~~~~~ THIS & THAT:
Kidspeak
As an aspiring massage therapist, I would try out techniques from my deep-tissue classes on my friends. One friend's husband had a high-stress job and played tennis, so I headed over to their house one day, carrying my portable massage table. Their five-year-old son answered the door. "Dad! Mom!" he yelled. "It's the massage terrorist." - Contributed by Cathryn Gwyn
After my daughter turned ten, I took her shopping for adult toiletries, which included deodorant. She was very excited about this sign of getting older. "Wow, Mom," she exclaimed as we were leaving the store. "Now I'll feel like a grownup, wearing my very own anti-depressant," - Contributed by Elizabeth S. Pike
I became pregnant around the time the McCaughey septuplets were born in Iowa. When my husband and I gave the news to our sons, ages nine and ten, they didn't believe us. Finally it sank in, and they were happy. "I think it's okay," said our older son, "but I hope you won't be taking any of those fertilizer pills like the lady in Iowa." - Contributed by Jennifer Moyer
~~~~~~~ TRIVIA:

What makes the Luxor's light so special?

The beam of light shining from the top of the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada is the most powerful in the world. The equivalent of 40 billion candle power, the beam is visible to airplanes from a distance of 250 miles.
